The Comprehensive Plan should be responsive to continuous change in our community, and its usefulness should be monitored to ensure that it is a consistent statement of City policy. At the Plan Commission meeting on May 9, 2023, the Commission began work on a formal review and amendment to the Comprehensive Plan (2021), and discussed revisions based off usage of the plan and finding areas for improvement. With a full draft of the new Zoning Ordinance, staff is recommending some changes to actions in the Comprehensive Plan to remain consistent. Wisconsin law requires that the Zoning Ordinance, Subdivision Ordinance, and the Official Map are all consistent with the Comprehensive Plan.
The Plan Commission requests your feedback on the DRAFT Comprehensive Plan Amendment #2. You can provide your feedback at the Plan Commission public hearing on Tuesday, September 26 at 7:00pm either in person at Middleton City Hall, 7426 Hubbard Avenue, or remotely on Zoom.us, Meeting ID: 826 4795 6073 and Password: 996150.
