Mayor Brar recently was called out of town for a personal matter. He has returned and has asked me to send this general note to all citizens, so that those who have applied for committee positions are aware of a change in his deliberations for appointments this year. The mayor or a city representative will contact you to set up an interview with him if you have applied for a new position or re-applied for an existing committee position. He anticipates having all interviews conducted by April 20. He then will provide his recommendations to the Common Council by April 30 for their review for prospective confirmation on Tuesday, May 7.
