Active Shooter Preparedness Training

Active shooter events are occurring at an exponential rate in our society, most recently at a workplace shooting in our city on September 19, 2018, and we can no longer wonder IF it will happen, but WHEN and WHERE.

Our goal is to prepare you so that you, your family and your co-workers all have a plan of what to do when it does.  To help us reach that goal, we are offering another FREE public presentation on active shooter preparedness, presented by Community Awareness Officer Kim Wood with assistance from presenters from the Dane County Sheriff's DepartmentCrime Response Program of the Dane County District Attorney's Office & Wisconsin Department of Justice Crime Response Team

This FREE Active Shooter Preparedness presentation will be at the Middleton High School Performing Arts Center, located at 2100 Bristol Street in Middleton, on Monday, November 26th from 6pm to 8pm.

To register for this presentation or to request the presentation at your workplace, go to http://middletonpd.com/ActiveShooterPresentations.htm.

If you have any questions or would like more information about the presentations, please contact Community Awareness Officer Kim Wood by calling 608-824-7323 or by email kwood@cityofmiddleton.us.
