Stop by the new plaza in downtown Middleton on Wednesday at 5:00 p.m. to learn about the Alternative Futures Survey, a two-month-long project designed to obtain public input on housing, farmland, transportation, the environment and other factors influencing growth in the Madison area. The survey is a key initiative of “A Greater Madison Vision”, a shared vision and plan being developed to guide public and private decisions about how the region accommodates another 150,000 people by 2040. The interactive survey will be available September 12 through November 12 at www.greatermadisonvision.com.
All are welcome and encouraged to attend this short event, which is being hosted by Middleton Mayor Gurdip Brar and other city officials, the Middleton Chamber of Commerce, and the Capital Area Regional Planning Commission. The plaza is located by Middleton Center and the Village Green, between Elmwood and Hubbard Avenues. For more information about this event, contact Mark Opitz, mopitz@ci.middleton.wi.us, (608) 821-8394.
