On Saturday, February 3, 2018, at 11:02 pm, Middleton Police Officers responded to an Armed Robbery which had just occurred at the Papa John’s Pizza located at 6615 University Avenue.  During this incident, the suspect displayed a weapon and demanded money from the registers.  The suspect fled in a vehicle which was parked nearby.  He did not get away with any money and a BB gun was recovered at the scene.

On Monday, April 9, 2018, the Middleton Police Department arrested 37-year old Eric Pombier of Madison for Armed Robbery related to the February 3 robbery at Papa John’s.  Physical evidence collected at the scene, including DNA, linked Pombier to this crime.

Pursuant to the directive of the Wisconsin Supreme Court, as found in Supreme Court Rule 20:3.6, Trial Publicity, you are advised that a charge is merely an accusation and the at a defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
