Finding all the information you need to keep your family safe isn’t easy. That’s why Middleton Police, Fire & EMS are teaming up with West Bend Mutual Insurance and other local organizations for the 11th Annual Family Safety Day on Saturday, September 16th, 2017 from 10am to 2pm at the Middleton Fire Department located at 7600 University Avenue in the City of Middleton.
At Family Safety Day, parents can help their children stay safe by:
signing up for Safe Assured ID kits with the Middleton Police Department
learning what to look for when choosing a nanny/babysitter
understanding the appropriate way to respond to common medical emergencies
having child safety seats inspected by Nationally Certified Child Passenger Safety Technicians
and much more!
More than twenty local organizations will be on-hand with valuable information for parents as well as fun, educational activities for kids. Children will have a chance to see fire extinguisher demonstrations, as well as climb into and explore emergency response vehicles.
The event is totally FREE and will be held rain or shine. Hope to see you there!
