Century Avenue Bridge Replacement over Pheasant Branch Creek

What’s Proposed

Dane County, in partnership with the City of Middleton, WisDOT, and Strand Associates, Inc.®, is proposing to replace the bridge on CTH M (Century Avenue) over Pheasant Branch Creek and improve roadway and trail access in the area.

• Replace the existing bridge with a new structure
• Reconstruct roadway approaches
• Extend the Pheasant Branch Trail under the new bridge
• Reconstruct the Branch St & Century Ave intersection to add a westbound left-turn lane

Anticipated construction: 2027

5:30–7:00 PM (short presentation at 5:45 PM)

This open-house meeting will explain the project design, traffic impacts during construction, bridge features, and real estate considerations. Project staff will be available to answer questions one-on-one.
