Join the Middleton Public Library and the City of Middleton's Sustainability Committee for an ongoing series to help Middleton residents learn about living sustainably, why it matters, what our city is doing, and how you can help.
The federal Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) created incentives that reduce the cost of clean energy projects for businesses, nonprofits, and even local governments. In some cases, federal funding can be as much as 70% of the project costs! Coupled with increasingly affordable technologies, this means there’s never been a better time to pursue projects that reduce operating costs and emissions.
Join Kathy Kuntz, Director of the Dane County Office of Energy & Climate Change, via Zoom to learn how organizations can leverage IRA funding for solar, energy efficiency, electrification, and more. Her presentation will include specific local examples and plenty of time for audience questions.
