Request to Rezone 126 Acres of Land  

Between High Road and Pheasant Branch Road

Chad Wuebben, on behalf of High Road Development Company, Inc., has applied for a Zoning Map Amendment to rezone the property described below from Agriculture (Ag) to Planned Development District-General Implementation Plan (PDD-GIP). The purpose of the proposed rezoning is to allow for development of a mix of residential, commercial, and parkland land uses on approximately 126 acres of land that was formerly used for farming. The proposed development consists of up to 893 dwelling units (up to 444 multi-family units and a variety of single- and two-family housing styles, including townhomes, two-flat condominiums, carriage homes, and traditional homes) and a mix of retail, office, and service uses as well as parkland and trails. The City of Middleton is currently reviewing a petition for direct annexation for the property described herein. Above described parcel is subject to public right-of-way over the West 33.00 feet along High Road, and various widths along Pheasant Branch Road on the East side of the parcel. 
 
Above described parcel contains 5,583,516 square feet or 128.18 acres including the right-of-way, and 5,483,383 square feet or 125.88 acres excluding the right-of-way. 
 
During the hearing, all interested persons will have an opportunity to speak or register their opinion. Statements may also be provided to City staff by 4:30 p.m. on the day of the hearing. The Plan Commission may take action following the hearing.
