Vierbicher, on behalf of the Middleton Cross-Plains School District, is requesting a conditional use permit to expand on the use of the school athletic fields and exceed the 35 feet height limit in the City’s R-1 zoning district. Sec. 10.23(14) of the City of Middleton Zoning Ordinance allows structures for schools exceeding a height of 35 feet as a conditional use. In addition, the expansion follows Sec. 10.115 which states no permit shall be granted unless all portions of the structure are at least 100 feet from any area on any R-1 zoned property within which a principal structure may be built.
 
During the hearing, all interested persons will have an opportunity to speak or register their opinion. Statements may also be provided to City staff by 4:30 p.m. on the day of the hearing. The Plan Commission may take action following the hearing.
