The City of Middleton Zoning Board of Appeals will hold a public hearing and consider taking action on the following application for variance:
- 7412 Elmwood Ave, Parcel ID 070811426718: The owners, Martin and Nancy Campshure, are requesting a variance from the maximum building height of detached buildings for a storage building. The applicants are requesting approval to continue building their existing storage building with a new roof line that measures 22 feet to the peak of the roof. Section 10.22(4)(h) limits the maximum height of storage buildings and sheds to 15 feet. This property was previously granted a variance for the height of the storage building of 22 feet on the basis of putting rooftop solar on the south end in 2004. The applicants have changed the slope of the roof and are no longer putting solar on the south end, thus needing a variance.
During the hearing, all interested persons will have an opportunity to speak or register their opinion. The Zoning Board of Appeals may take action following the hearing.
