Summer's almost here!
LIBRARY IN THE PARK!
The Middleton Public Library is going to the parks again this summer!

The 2021 Library in the Park program will take place in Lakeview, Orchid Heights, Stone Horse Green, and Harvey John and Lucille Taylor parks! All Library in the Park visits will have Summer Reading Program sign up for all ages, free books for babies to teens, and a take-and-make kids craft (while supplies last).

Enjoy additional fun activities for kids and families at some of the Library in the Park visits too! For example, there will be a self-guided nature walk at Lakeview Park on June 28, Kids Challenge Course at Stone Horse Green on July 7 and 21, and a special Middleton Park and Recreation sponsored activity at Stone Horse Green on July 14 and 28.

Please note, Covid safety guidelines will be in effect during all Library in the Park visits.
1. Mask wearing is required when visiting the library table.
2. Only one family at the library table at one time.
3. Those waiting to visit the library table or the special activities should social distance from each other AND the library table.
4. Use hand sanitizer before touching any of the available books at the library table. Hand sanitizer will be available at the library table.

2021 LIBRARY IN THE PARK VISIT LOCATIONS, DATES, & VISIT TIMES:

Lakeview Park Splash Pad (6300 Mendota Ave): Mondays from 1:30-3pm on June 28, July 19, & August 23. Look for library under/near large pavilion.

Orchid Heights (3960 Valley Ridge Rd): Wednesdays from 10-11am on June 16, 23, and 30. Look for library near pavilion.

Stone Horse Green (Green Space at 7550 Hubbard Ave): Wednesdays from 10-11am on July 7, 14, 21, and 28. Street parking only. No facilities available.

Harvey John and Lucille Taylor Park (5280 Bishops Bay Pkwy): Wednesdays from 10-11am on August 4, 11, and 18. Look for library near pavilion.

PLEASE NOTE: ALL OUTDOOR EVENTS ARE WEATHER PERMITTING AND MAY BE CANCELLED LAST MINUTE BASED ON PROJECTED FORECAST. Thanks for your understanding!
