Airport Master Plan Open House scheduled for Saturday, April 10

The City of Middleton, with the guidance of the Airport Master Plan Advisory Committee, has scheduled an open house to allow the public to ask questions and make comments about the airport master planning process.

EVENT FORMAT
The project team will not provide background information about the airport master planning process during the open house so that the focus can be on obtaining public feedback and providing responses to questions raised before and during the event. To accommodate what city officials anticipate will be a large turnout, participants will be asked to limit their speaking time to two minutes each, with everyone having the opportunity to speak before the facilitator provides an opportunity for people to speak again. Questions and comments are also welcome before and after the meeting. The City will also provide future opportunities for public input, both at meetings and through distribution of a community survey. Additional instructions will be provided prior to, at the beginning of, and at various times during the open house.

PREPARING FOR THE OPEN HOUSE
The City's consultant has created ten videos that summarize key components of the airport master planning process to date. These videos, organized by topic, can be accessed through the Open House webpage. The videos and a copy of the draft master plan chapters are also available for viewing at the airport terminal building; please call (608) 836-1711 to make arrangements.
