NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS
Request for Variances from City of Middleton Zoning Ordinance regulations
pertaining to property located in the City’s extraterritorial zoning jurisdiction
in the Town of Westport

The City of Middleton Zoning Board of Appeals will hold public hearings and consider taking action on the following applications for variances:
- 4914 Wakanda Drive, Town of Westport (County R-3 Residence zoning district): Ken Lambrecht, property owner, requests variances to construct a partially-exposed basement beneath the two-car, detached garage structure for which variances were approved on February 3, 2021. The front of the structure would be located 6’ 8.5” (including a 36” roof overhang) from the front lot line and 2’ 6.75” (including a 12” roof overhang) from the left side lot line. Section 10.96(8)(f)(6) states that the minimum width of any side yard shall be 10 feet and Section 10.96(8)(f)5) and 10.96(8)(u)(4)(b) state that a structure on this parcel must be set back at least 20 feet from a Class D highway right-of-way line.
- 4961 Borcher’s Beach Road, Town of Westport (County R-2 Residence zoning district): Steve Levy, property owner, requests a variance to replace an existing single family residence with one that is located 8’6” (including an 18” overhang) from the east lot line, which faces Borcher’s Beach Road. Section 10.96(8)(u)(4)(b) states that a structure on this parcel must be set back at least 20 feet from a Class D highway right-of-way line.
During the hearing, all interested persons will have an opportunity to speak or register their opinion. The Zoning Board of Appeals may take action following the hearing.
