Tim Carey of T5 Real Estate Services, on behalf of Hennes Services Inc., requests approval of a Zoning Map Amendment to rezone the following property from PDD-GIP (Planned Development District-General Implementation Plan) to B2 (General Business District), which would return this 0.874 acre parcel to its previous zoning classification. (In 2019, the City rezoned the property to allow development of an apartment building but that project is not proceeding.) The applicant plans to construct a building housing an auto parts store.

Description of property to be rezoned:

During the hearing, all interested persons will have an opportunity to speak or register their opinion. Statements may also be provided to City staff by 4:30 p.m. on the day of the hearing. The Plan Commission may take action following the hearing.

Due to the COVID-19 public health emergency, the City of Middleton is recommending that interested parties log in remotely rather than attend the meeting in person. However, the City can physically accommodate up to five members of the public in the meeting room at one time in a manner that adheres to state and national guidelines.

To monitor or participate in the meeting remotely, use the Zoom app or go to https://zoom.us/, then type in the Meeting ID and Password (above). To participate by phone, call (312) 626-6799 and enter the Meeting ID. Anyone who would like phone access other than via this long-distance telephone number should contact city staff prior to the meeting.
