Eric and Lynn Lanning, partial owners of Vibe Dance Madison, request a conditional use permit to operate an instructional dance academy for children in a portion of the building at this location, which is zoned Industrial. Section 10.68(7) of the City of Middleton Zoning Ordinance lists “recreational facilities” as a conditional use in an Industrial zoning district.

During the hearing, all interested persons will have an opportunity to speak or register their opinion. Statements may also be provided to City staff by 4:30 p.m. on the day of the hearing. The Plan Commission may take action following the hearing.

Due to the ongoing public health emergency, the City of Middleton is recommending that interested parties log in remotely rather than attend the meeting in person. However, the City can physically accommodate up to seven members of the public in the meeting room at one time in a manner that adheres to state and national guidelines.
