The City of Middleton Zoning Board of Appeals will hold a public hearing and consider taking action on the following application:

1.    2733 Dewey Court (Parcel ID 0708-014-7110-7):  The owner, Eric Porter, is requesting a zoning variance from the front setback to expand their existing single-car garage to a two-car garage. The two-car garage will be located as close as 5.7 feet (measured to the eaves, 6.7 feet measured to the building footprint) from the front lot line and 3 feet (measured to the eaves, 4 feet measured to the building footprint) from the side lot line. Section 10.24(3) requires 24 feet (or 20 feet if such minimum would produce a difference in alignment of houses on neighboring parcels of not more than 6 feet) front setback. Section 10.136(6)(a) requires a 4 feet side setback for this narrow lot.

During the hearing, all interested persons will have an opportunity to speak or register their opinion. The Zoning Board of Appeals may take action following the hearing.
