The Metropolitan Refuse District (MRD) compost site, 5211 CTH Q, will be closing for the year at the end of November.
- City residents may drop off brush, branches (up to 6” in diameter), wood chips, sawdust, grass clippings, leaves, and plants.
- No treated or painted lumber, stumps, logs, sod or other items are accepted at the site.
- Hours of operation for the MRD compost facility are available on the City’s website.
The facility will reopen in April 2022.
