Youth Academy Flier

In 2022, the Middleton Police Department, in conjunction with the Cross Plains Police Department, Middleton Fire Department, and Middleton EMS, hosted our first ever summer youth academy.  In our youth academy, students learn about different aspects of law enforcement including:

  • crime scene investigations
  • traffic enforcement
  • physical fitness
  • police K9
  • fire and EMS
  • and several other topics

The academy is open to students going to Kromrey Middle School or Glacier Creek Middle School, and for students entering 9th grade at Middleton High School.

The academy is free of charge and will run from July 10 - July 14, 2023, at the Middleton Police Department from 8am-12pm each day.

As of May 24, 2023, the academy is full and no longer accepting registrations.  If you have any questions, please contact Community Policing Officer Jake Ungerer at or 608-824-7323.
