Governing Body

Middleton's governing body is the City Council, consisting of eight alderpersons elected by districts and a mayor elected at large. The Council adopts the City budget and passes laws, policies, and regulations that govern the City.
Middleton's City Council works in conjunction with various boards and committees to support the management of the city of Middleton and its residents.


The city consists of 13 departments that support the day-to-day operations of the city.
