Middleton is a dynamic hub of commercial activity, recreation, entertainment, dining options, and environmental treasures. The city features the amenities and activity of a larger community, while maintaining its unique small town charm, embodying our slogan “The Good Neighbor City.”

Community Development Work & Responsibilities

The Middleton Community Development Authority and staff work to maintain the high quality of life evidenced in Middleton by the 2011 Money Magazine designation as a “Best Place to Live” in America. The City of Middleton Community Development staff is primarily focused on projects related to downtown Middleton, environmental sustainability, historic landmarks, workforce housing, public art, and city beautification.
